Liverpool closing in on REAL MADRID WINGER

Liverpool are confident of beating league rivals Arsenal to the services of Real Madrid winger Denis Cheryshev this summer.

The Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is expected to make a move for a new winger, following the sale of Raheem Sterling to Manchester City earlier in the summer.

According to Fichajes.net, the Merseyside giants will continue their spending spree by wrapping up a £14.7m deal for the Russian international.

Cheryshev impressed during his loan stint with Villareal last season, as he scored five goals in 40 appearances.
