Alexandre Lacazette signs new Lyon deal

France international Alexandre Lacazette has signed a new deal to keep him at Lyon until the summer of 2019.
The talented frontman has attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool over the past month, in spite of manager Hubert Fournier insisting that the player would not be offloaded in the summer.
“People can stop talking [about me],Now I hope we will only talk because I am scoring goals and winning games with Lyon," Lacazette told the club's official website.
"I let it be known my wish to stay at the club and to refuse any outside offer. The important thing for me was not whether I would extend my contract or not, but to stay at the club. I knew that I was going to stay here."
