Inter Milan join Fabio Coentrao pursuit

Inter Milan are reportedly hoping to lure Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao into a summer switch to the San Siro.

The Portugal international is understood to have requested Los Blancos to let him join former club Benfica in the transfer window.

However, Corriere dello Sport cites the Nerazzurri are confident that they can entice the left-back to join the club with a big offer.

The 27-year-old has not taken part in Real's pre-season as he continues to recuperate from a minor muscular niggle.
