Man City agree fee for Nicolas Otamendi

Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Argentine defender Nicolas Otamendi after they agreed on a transfer sum with Valencia.

The centre-back has been tipped to make his way to the Premier League since the start of the transfer window.

It has now been confirmed that the Citizens have finalized a fee in the region of £28.2m to acquire the player's services.

Otamendi is expected to undergo a medical on Tuesday, ahead of his transfer to the Mancunian giants.

It is also known that Mangala will not make a loan switch to Los Che as reports earlier claimed.
