Man Utd manager quiet on Sadio Mane speculation

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has revealed that he wishes not to interfere on the club's ongoing pursuit of Southampton winger Sadio Mane.

The Red Devils are understood to be in talks to sign up the Senegalese international, having seen top target Pedro make his way to league rivals Chelsea.

When asked by reporters in a press conference, Van Gaal said : "I cannot answer. I don't want to interfere. Ed Woodward is doing that."

United host Newcastle United in their next Premier League encounter on Saturday.
