Arsene Wenger wants Joel Campbell stay
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has stated that he is keen to keep hold of winger Joel Campbell beyond the transfer window.
The Gunners are thought to have rejected two bids from Palermo for Costa Rican winger Joel Campbell.
Wenger has now revealed in a press conference that he is eager to have the 23-year-old at the Emirates for the ongoing campaign.
"At the moment he is here and personally I would like to keep him. I will have to sit down with Joel because I rate him highly as a player and personally if he stays here I am very happy." he told the club's official website.
Campbell spent the second half of last season on loan at Villareal.
