Sunderland pull out of De Guzman deal
Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat has revealed the club have pulled out of a deal for Napoli midfielder Jonathan de Guzman.
It has been reported earlier that the Black Cats were waiting on a positive reaction regarding a potential loan for the Netherlands international.
However, Advocaat has now revealed that the 27-year-old will not be heading to the Wearside in the transfer window.
It is hought that the loan signing of Rennes forward Ola Toivonen has played a major role in their decision.
