Man Utd make record bid for Gareth Bale

Manchester United are reported to have made a club-record bid for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.
The Red Devils are in desperate need of a new attacker following their dismal record infront of goal in the league this season.
Welsh international Gareth Bale has been constantly linked with a move to Old Trafford, in spite of Real boss Rafael Benitez dismissing the player's exit.
BeIN reporter Tandredi Palmeri has now revealed that the Red Devils have made a record offer of around £72m to land the talented playmaker just one day before the transfer deadline.
The 26-year-old joined the former European champions from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013.
