Javier Hernandez signs for Bayer Leverkusen

Manchester United have agreed the sale of striker Javier Hernandez to Bayer Leverkusen for a £12m fee.

The Mexican international was on the substitutes' bench during United's 2-1 loss at Swansea City, and this led to doubts that he may remain at the club.

However, multiple reports now confirm that Chicharito has joined the German side Bayer Leverkusen on a three-year deal.

Chicharito struggled to cement a first-team place under Louis van Gaal, and was shipped out on loan to Real Madrid during the previous campaign.
