Alex Song returns to West Ham

Barcelona midfielder Alex Song will ply his trade on loan with West Ham United for the second season running, according to reports.

The former Cameroon international has been tipped to join the Hammers throughout the transfer window.

However, there were doubts following reports that the former Arsenal man would require a surgery to remove a piece of floating bone from his ankle.

It is now confirmed that the midfield enforcer will rejoin the East London outfit on a season-long loan deal.
