Anthony Martial targets regular spot in France team

Manchester United striker Anthony Martial is hoping to impress at his new club as he seeks to earn a regular role in the French national side.

The 19-year-old joined the Red Devils from AS Monaco for a whooping £36m on transfer deadline day.

Martial now feels that his place in the national team could be determined by his performances at Old Trafford.

"We won, that is the most important thing. I came on, I could not be more happy. Of course it is different from with the Under-21s and the youth teams. I am very happy to be here, I hope for regular call-ups by playing well for my club." he told The Express.
