Everton yet to offer new deal to John Stones
Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that the club are yet to offer a contract extension to defender John Stones.
Stones had been tipped to make his way to Chelsea over the summer, but the Toffees stood firm as they rebuffed as many as three bids for the England international.
It has been recently reported that the Merseyside outfit would look to secure the player's services on a long-term basis by offering him a new contract on a bumper package.
However, Martinez has now admitted that the club are not in talks with Stones regarding a new deal.
The 21-year-old joined the Toffees from League One side Barnsley in 2013.
