Swansea City are reportedly monitoring the progress of Leeds United star Sam Byram with the view to a January offer for his services.
The 22-year-old had been linked with a move to the top tier over the summer, with the likes of Everton and Newcastle United interested in his signature.
According to The Mirror, Swans boss Garry Monk is eager to bring the right-sided player to the Welsh outfit in the New Year.
It is added that Monk is confident of luring the player to the Liberty Stadium by offering him a starting place in the first-team.
The Swans are currently eighth in the league standings.
