Will Buckley to join Leeds United on loan

Sunderland are expected to allow winger Will Buckley make a temporary move to Leeds United until the New Year.

The 25-year-old has struggled to firm his place in the starting line-up under Black Cats boss Dick Advocaat.

Buckley is scheduled to join the Yorkshire side on a 93-day emergency loan, and will link up in training with his new teammates this week.

However, the Black Cats have confirmed that the temporary move will not be made official until Leeds' home fixture against Birmingham City on October 3.
