Nicolas N'Koulou could remain at Marseille

Reported Chelsea target Nicolas N'Koulou has revealed that he is open to extending his stay at Marseille.

The Cameroon international is in the final year of his contract at Marseille, and this led to the speculation that the Blues may seek to seal a cut-price deal for the talented centre-back in January.

However, the 25-year-old has admitted that his main focus remains on the club's progress and is not concerned by the ongoing speculation regarding his future.

He added that he would consider committing his future to the club, should there be talks over a contract extension.

N'Koulou joined the Ligue 1 giants from AS Monaco in 2011.
