Liverpool chase Demarai Gray

Liverpool are monitoring Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray, according to reports.

The 19-year-old had attracted interest from the Premier League over the summer, but he opted to pen a new long-term deal with the Blues.

According to The Liverpool Echo, the Reds could pounce on the player's services in January, given he has a release clause of just £3.5m.

It is added that the West Midlands side would be better off selling their star asset in the New Year as this figure could drop as low as £3m at the end of the season.

German giants Bayern Munich are also keeping tabs on the talented youngster.
