Chelsea enquire on Georgian goalkeeper
Chelsea have shown interest in signing Georgia international goalkeeper Giorgi Loria, according to head coach Kakhaber Tskhadadze.
The 29-year-old joined Russian side Krylia Sovetov from Olympiakos earlier this summer, but has yet to make a single league appearance for the club.
Georgia boss Tskhadadze has now revealed that the talented shot-stopper has attracted keen interest from the Premier League holders.
"There were two days where Chelsea would not stop calling," he told Spanish publication Marca.
However, he added that the player should continue playing for his current side until a formal approach is made for his services.
The Blues currently have Asmir Begovic as the only reliable option for the number one role following a long-term injury to Thibaut Courtois.
