Man Utd to offload Valdes to overseas club
Manchester United have reportedly made their mind up to not sell goalkeeper Victor Valdes to a Premier League rival.
The Spain international joined the Mancunian giants on a free transfer in January, following weeks of training with the first-team.
However, his chances were limited, with first-choice shot-stopper David de Gea maintaining his performance level throughout the campaign.
Valdes had been tipped to leave Old Trafford over the summer, after manager Louis van Gaal stated that the player had no future following his refusal to play for the second string side. But the player remained at the club, after he failed to earn his desired move.
Widespread reports now claim that the 33-year-old must seek a move away from England, with United unlikely to allow his transfer to a league rival.
Liverpool and Chelsea have been linked with the player's services in recent weeks.
