David Moyes snubs Sunderland

Real Sociedad manager David Moyes has reportedly turned down a move back to the Premier League with Sunderland.

The 52-year-old is currently in-charge of Spanish side Real Sociedad, who currently linger just above the relegation zone in La Liga.

The Black Cats are thought to be on the search for a new manager, after Dick Advocaat mutually cut ties with the Wearside outfit following a dismal start to their league campaign.

It had been rumoured the Black Cats could consider a move for Moyes, who has the ability to manage clubs with limited finances.

However, The Mail claims that the Scottish head coach has turned down the role, as he is more focused on getting Sociedad to a position of safety in the league.

Sunderland are currently 19th in the league standings with just three points.
