David Moyes in contention for Aston Villa job

Real Sociedad manager David Moyes is one among the leading candidates for the head coach at Aston Villa should Tim Sherwood get the axe.
Sherwood is believed to be in immense pressure to perform after his side slumped to 18th in the league standings in the early stages of the campaign.
Recent reports have cited that the former Spurs boss could be fired should he fail to get a positive result against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
According to The Mirror, Moyes will be offered the Villains job if the club part ways with current manager Tim Sherwood in the near future.
Moyes recently rejected the managerial post at Sunderland in order to focus on his role at Real Sociedad.
