Galatasaray to bid for Joel Campbell

Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly leading the chase to sign out-of-favour Arsenal forward Joel Campbell.

The Costa Rican has yet to start a league game for the Gunners, and is expected to move on during the winter transfer window.

Recent reports had cited that the player had attracted interest from several Turkish clubs following his impressive show for his national side.

Italian outlet Sport Mediaset now confirms that Gala are ready to make a formal approach for the 23-year-old in the New Year.

Gunners are thought to be willing to offload Campbell for as less as £1.6m in January.
