Liverpool keen on Andrea Ranocchia

Newly appointed Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is eager to seal a January deal for Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia.

The 27-year-old is thought to have made up his mind on a move to the Premier League in the New Year.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Klopp has been a huge admirer of the Italy international since his days at Borussia Dortmund.

It is added that the German coach is ready to rival the likes of Everton and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to land the talented defender.

Ranocchia was sensationally stripped off his captaincy over the summer, and is now a bench warmer for the San Siro outfit.
