Man Utd target off to Barcelona?

Atletic Bilbao star Aymeric Laporte is understood to have agreed on a deal to join Spanish giants Barcelona in the winter transfer window.

The talented footballer has been on the radar of Manchester United for over a year, and this led to speculation that United could make a move in early 2016.

However, The Mirror understands that Barca are wrapping up a deal for the French Under-21 stopper, and this is likely to have a dent in United's transfer plans for the New Year.

Laporte has been impressive in his stint with the Basque outfit, and has notched up over 75 appearances in La Liga.
