Chelsea tracking Paco Alcacer?

Valencia star Paco Alcacer has emerged as a top transfer target for Chelsea in the winter transfer window.

The Blues have made a dismal start to their title defence this season, and manager Jose Mourinho is expected to add a new striker to the club ranks in the New Year.

According to The Sun, Mourinho had sent scouts to watch Alcacer in action during Los Che's 3-0 win over Malaga last night.

It is added that the Blues are weighing up a January bid for the talented marksman, who is valued at around £50m by the La Liga side.

The 22-year-old is contracted to Los Che until the summer of 2020.
