Jose Mourinho plays down Falcao exit talk

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly played down talks of Radamel Falco leaving the club in the winter transfer window.

The Monaco striker secured a season-long loan with Chelsea over the summer, in spite of having a horror show with Manchester United in the previous campaign.

Falcao has since then misfired in front of goal, and this has pecked him behind the likes of Diego Costa and Loic Remy for the centre-forward role.

It had been recently reported that Falcao may terminate his loan spell for a return to Ligue 1.

However, Mourinho has revealed that he has no clue where the speculation came from.

"First of all I don't know if it's true. I speak with him every day, it's quite strange that the press knows something that I don't, or my club know," he told reporters.

The former Atleti star has scored a solitary league goal for the Blues this term.
