Arsenal scout Schalke starlet

Arsenal are reported to have monitored Schalke midfielder Leroy Sane in the Europa League on Thursday night.

The 19-year-old is rated as one of best upcoming youngsters in the Bundesliga.

According to The People, the young attacker was thoroughly watched by Gunners scouts as he scored a goal from the substitutes' bench during his side's 2-2 draw against Sparta Prague in the Europa League.

It is added that Arsene Wenger's side have been impressed by Sane's showing and may be tempted in to a winter offer for his signature.

Sane has scored four goals in 13 games for Schalke this term.
