Jose Mourinho wants Wesley Sneijder

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will seek to land the services of Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder in January.

The Netherlands international signed a three-year contract extension at the Istanbul outfit earlier this season.

However, Tribal Football understands that Mourinho fancies a reunion with the talented playmaker, with whom he had Champions League success in 2010.

It is added that the Premier League holders are ready to trigger the player's release clause which currently stands at £14m.

It is yet to be known whether Sneijder would favour a big club move after he revealed his desire to end his career at Gala.
