Chelsea scout Boca Juniors youngster

Chelsea are understood to be keeping a close eye on Boca Juniors striker Jonathan Calleri ahead of the winter transfer window.

The Blues are expected to move in for a new marksman in January, having seen the likes of Diego Costa, Loic Remy and loan signing Radamel Falcao fail to find the net on regular intervals.

According to ESPN, Blues scouts are known to have tracked the 22-year-old in several occasions this season, and are weighing up a January bid for his services.

It is also known that the arrival of a new striker could end Falcao's dismal loan spell at Stamford Bridge.
