Bayern Munich to rival Man Utd for Sadio Mane

German giants Bayern Munich are set to battle it out with Manchester United for the services of Southampton winger Sadio Mane.

The Senegalese international has been in good form for the Saints following his switch from Red Bull Salzburg in 2014.

Recent speculation has claimed that the Red Devils could tempt the Saints with a £30m offer in January, though manager Ronald Koeman is adamant that the 23-year-old would be sold.

It is now reported by The Mirror that Bayern Munich have been keeping tabs on Mane and may make an offer of their own for the talented attacker.

However, Mane is most likely to reject a move to Bavaria as he has set his sights on a long-term stay in the Premier League.

Saints currently rate Mane at around £40m.
