Juventus step up IIkay Gundogan pursuit

Serie A giants Juventus are ready to reignite their interest in German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, Tuttosport reveals.

The Bianconeri have had their fair share of injury problems in midfield with the likes of Sami Khedira, Mario Lemina and Claudio Marchisio on the sidelines.

Tuttosport has learned that Borussia Dortmund playmaker Ilkay Gundogan has been identified as the ideal target to add creativity to Juve's game play.

It is added that the Old Lady are clear favourites in the player's chase due to the lack of interest from Barcelona and Manchester United.

Gundogan has featured in all league games for BVB this campaign.
