Arsenal close to First Winter Signing

Arsenal look set to acquire the services of teenage striker Gabriel Jesus from Brazilian side Palmeiras.

The 18-year-old is deemed as the 'next big thing' to come out of Brazilian football.

Gabriel has earned himself a regular spot in the first-team following an excellent display for the youth setup last season.

Reports in Brazil reveal that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has been impressed by what he has seen of the youngster in recent weeks.

It is added that the club's representatives will make a trip to Brazil in a bid to seal a winter deal for the talented striker.

The Gunners are expected to apply for a work permit once they finalize a contract for Gabriel.
