Inter Milan to pursue Zabaleta

Serie A high-flyers Inter Milan will reportedly make a move for Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta in 2016.

The Argentine full-back has struggled with a series of injuries this season, and this has affected his place in the starting setup.

According to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri will pursue Zabaleta's signature at some time in 2016 with manager Roberto Mancini keen on a reunion with his former player.

It is added that the 30-year-old could favour a switch away from the Citizens, should City boss Manuel Pellegrini keep on playing Bacary Sagna as the first-choice right-back.

Zabaleta has made over 275 appearances for City since his move from Espanyol in 2008.
