Galatasaray target Joel Campbell

Turkish giants Galatasaray are said to be monitoring the situation of Arsenal attacker Joel Campbell.

The Costa Rican international had been tipped to leave the Emirates in the summer, but manager Arsene Wenger opted to keep hold of his services.

Since then, the 23-year-old has featured on a regular basis in the starting line-up with several of the club's first-team players spending time in the treatment room.

Turkish source Radyospor claims that the Istanbul outfit are closing tracking the player's proceedings, with general secretary Fatih Isbecer having travelled to the English capital to hold talks with the Gunners.

Campbell joined the Gunners from Deportivo Saprissa in 2011.
