Crystal Palace leading Adebayor chase?
Crystal Palace are apparently front-runners to acquire the services of former Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Togo international is a free agent following his release from Spurs in September 2014.
Premier League newcomers Watford were said to be closing in on the player's services, but according to The Mirror, Eagles boss Alan Pardew has turned his attention to the African star after he failed in his pursuit to bring one of Loic Remy or Charlie Austin to Selhurst Park.
It is added that the 31-year-old would favour a switch to London having previously rebuffed a move to the Midlands with Aston Villa in the summer.
