Stoke City line up Berahino bid

Stoke City are preparing a club-record offer for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino.

The 22-year-old had been the subject of multiple bids from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, but the Baggies were firm in their desire to keep hold of their main man.

Since then, Berahino has lacked the motivation to play for the Baggies, and has not started a league game in over two months.

According to The Guardian, the Potters are apparently monitoring Berahino's situation, and could be tempted to make an audacious bid for his services this month.

Liverpool have also been credited with interest for the talented marksman.
