Man Utd target Algerian Striker
Manchester United have reportedly joined the likes of West Ham United and Leicester City in the race to sign Sporting Lisbon striker Islam Slimani.
The Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is said to have sent scouts to watch the 27-year-old in action in recent months.
A report from The Sun claims that the Mancunian giants could come up with a £12m bid for the Algerian international as they seek to bolster their striking options for the second half of the season.
Slimani has become a household name in Portugal following his exploits with his national side at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The talented striker has netted 13 goals in the Primeira Liga this term.
