Liverpool lead Jamie Vardy chase

Liverpool are reportedly heading the queue to sign Leicester City star Jamie Vardy.

The 29-year-old has been in sensational form for the Foxes this season, and having netted 15 goals in the Premier League.

Vardy is said to have been scouted by the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea in recent weeks, but according to The Star, the Reds are deemed favourites to sign the former Fleetwood Town striker.

It is added that the Foxes are not willing to do business this month, and the Reds would have to wait until the summer to land the Englishman's signature.

Vardy became the first player ever to score in 11 consecutive Premier League games.
