Chelsea still keen on Jamie Vardy

Chelsea are hopeful of luring Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy to Stamford Bridge before the transfer deadline.

The England international has been in prime form for league toppers Leicester City, and this has caught the eye of top clubs in Europe.

According to ESPN. the Blues have not dropped their interest in the 29-year-old, who tops the Premier League goalscoring charts with 16 goals this season.

It is added that Guus Hiddink's side will look to test Foxes' resolve by offering Loic Remy as makeweight in a proposed deal for Vardy.

Vardy is currently rated at around £25m.
