Chinese clubs target Robin van Persie
Former Manchester United and Arsenal striker Robin van Persie is reportedly attracting interest from several Chinese clubs.
The Netherlands international joined Turkish side Fenerbahce from Manchester United last summer after he fell out-of-favour under manager Louis van Gaal. He has since then struggled to adapt to life in Istanbul, and is now said to be eyeing a switch to a new league.
According to The Times, the 32-year-old could be the next high-profile player to make a move to the big spenders in the Chinese Super League.
It is added that clubs from the Far East are keeping a close eye on Van Persie's situation and could battle it out for his services before the transfer deadline on February 26.
Van Persie has netted 11 goals in all competitions for Fener this term.
