Man Utd join Ever Banega chase

Manchester United will reportedly battle it out with Inter Milan for the services of Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega. The 27-year-old's current deal is due to expire at the end of the season.

The Argentina international had been linked with a move to Old Trafford last month but a deal failed to materialize. Since then, Banega has been tipped to seal a Bosman transfer to Inter Milan, who are said to have offered him a contract.

According to ITASportPress, United could make a move for the talented playmaker, should Jose Mourinho take over the head coach role at Old Trafford.

It is added that the Mancunian giants would be willing to offer wages of around £70,000-a-week which is slightly more than the Nerazzurri's £58,000 weekly wage structure.

Banega has made over 70 appearances for Sevilla since his move from Valencia in 2014.
