Mourinho wants Varane at Man Utd

Jose Mourinho will look to acquire the services of Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane once he takes over the managerial role at Manchester United in the summer.

The Portuguese head coach has been recently rumoured to have agreed to replace Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford in the off-season.

According to The Sun, the 53-year-old will seek to lure France international Varane to Old Trafford in the next transfer window.

During his time at Real Madrid, Mourinho described the 22-year-old as the best young defender in the world.

Varane has earned himself a regular starting role at the Bernabeu this year, with Pepe recovering from a foot injury.
