Chelsea want Rakitic

Chelsea are said to be eyeing a summer deal for Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

The Croatian international has turned into an important first-team player for the Catalan giants since his move from Sevilla in 2014.

Spanish source Don Balon claims that manager Diego Simeone would like to see the 27-year-old at Stamford Bridge, should he land the managerial post in the summer.

Borussia Dortmund attacker Marco Reus and Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani are also said to be on the Argentine's shortlist.

The Blues, who are currently under the control of interim boss Guus Hiddink, are expected to appoint a new manager at the end of the season.
