Havard Nordtveit set for England return
Borussia Monchengladbach have confirmed that midfielder Havard Nordtveit will head to England after he snubbed a contract extension. The 25-year-old joined the Bundesliga outfit in 2011 having failed to make it to the first-team at Arsenal.
The Norway international has been the subject of transfer speculation in recent weeks with former club Arsenal being tipped to acquire his services.
Monchengladbach have now revealed that the midfield enforcer will make a move to the top tier when his contract runs up in the summer.
"Havard Nordtveit has opted not to extend his contract and will move to England in the summer," the club revealed via their official twitter account.
London side West Ham United are understood to have offered a contract to the former Gunners graduate.
Nordtveit has earned 24 caps with his national side.
