Man Utd eyeing Martial-Cavani swap?

Manchester United could reportedly offer French sensation Anthony Martial in an exchange deal to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani. The 20-year-old has been one of the bright spots for the Red Devils, who have had a below-par showing in the Premier League this season.

Cavani has been strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford following reports that he is unsettled at the French capital.

Italian source Tuttomercato suggests that United are desperate to land the Uruguay international given their lack of firepower in the striking department.

It is also known that the club could be tempted to use Martial as makeweight in a proposed deal for the South American hitman.

The 28-year-old has been forced to play in the wider areas at Les Parisiens with star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic preferred for the centre-forward role.

Cavani has netted 19 goals in all competitions for his club this term.
