West Ham plot Lacazette swoop

West Ham United are weighing up a summer bid for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports. The France international has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League over the past year with the likes of Arsenal and Newcastle United interested in his services.

The 24-year-old has struggled to make a regular impact at Lyon this season, and this has affected their league form of late.

French outlet L'Equipe suggests that the Hammers will look to clinch a deal for the talented marksman this summer as they seek to bolster their attacking options for the 2015/16 campaign.

Adding to this, Lacazette could consider his future at the French giants, should his side miss out on a Champions League qualification spot this term.

Lacazette has netted 13 league goals for the former Ligue 1 champions this term.
