Spurs step up Tielemans interest

Tottenham Hotspur have stepped up their pursuit for highly-rated Anderlecht attacker Youri Tielemans. The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the finest talents to come out of Belgium.

Tielemans has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League over the past year following his impressive showing with Anderlecht in the Champions League last season.

According to The Mirror, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is eager to get a deal done for the talented youngster, who has been tipped for a big club move next season.

However, the North London giants could face a transfer tussle with the likes of Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion also keeping track on the player's developments.

Tielemans has racked over 100 appearances for the Belgian giants since his debut in 2013.
