Valencia eye Payet signing

Spanish side Valencia will look to make an audacious swoop for West Ham United attacker Dimitri Payet this summer. Los Che are expected to have a major overhaul of their squad following a dismal campaign that has seen them drop to the bottom half of the league standings.

The La Liga side have struggled to get in the necessary results this season despite having a number of quality players in their ranks.

According to Calciomercato, the club's hierarchy have had enough, and will now look to offload some of their top talents in the next transfer window.

Adding to this, Payet is said to be the prime target for the Mestalla outfit, who aim to challenge for European qualification next term.

The France international has settled fantastically since his move from Marseille last summer, and this has caught the eye of top European clubs including Real Madrid and Barcelona.

West Ham currently value Payet at around £45m.
