Barcelona in Marquinhos talks

Barcelona are apparently in crunch talks with Paris Saint-Germain to land Chelsea and Manchester City target Marquinhos. The Brazilian centre-back has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League after he fell below the likes of Thiago Silva and David Luiz in the pecking order.

Marquinhos has recently stated that he could consider a move to a fresh league in the future provided he is guaranteed European football.

According to French source Le 10 Sport, officials from Camp Nou have already made contact with Les Parisiens regarding a potential transfer for the player.

It is added that the Ligue 1 holders will only sell their player, provided they have ample time to find a suitable replacement.

The 21-year-old has made great strides since his move from AS Roma, but he has never quite managed to attain a regular starting spot.
