Sergio Ramos to Chelsea?

Chelsea are reported to be preparing a summer raid for Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos. The Spain international had been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United last summer before he penned a long-term contract.

The 30-year-old has since then struggled to keep up his performance levels, and he is among the players likely to be sold by Real at the end of the season.

Italian publication Corriere dello Sport says the Blues could make a swoop for the versatile defender if Antonio Conte takes over the reigns in the summer.

Conte is said to be a huge admirer of the World Cup winner, who has the ability to play at either centre-back or right-back.

Ramos joined the Bernabeu giants from Sevilla way back in 2005.
