Chelsea hot on trail of Ivan Perisic

Chelsea are reported to be preparing a formal approach for Inter Milan forward Ivan Perisic. Incoming boss Antonio Conte is expected to ring in the changes ahead the club's next league campaign.

According to Italian publication Tuttosport, Perisic has emerged as the prime target for Conte during this summer's transfer window.

It is added that the Italian had sent one of his scouts to keep a close watch on the Croatian during Inter's crunch league encounter against Napoli last weekend.

Perisic, 27, has developed into an important first-team player at the Nerazzurri since his move from Wolfsburg last summer.

The talented attacker has amassed five goals and six assists in 31 league appearances for Inter this season.
